Animal Welfare

Purina values our association with well-established animal shelters and rescue and foster care groups across the country. The following programs have been put in place specifically to benefit these animal welfare organizations.

Purina® Pets for People™
Since 1984, Purina Pets For People™ has provided life-enriching benefits of pet ownership to Americans. To date, Purina Pets For People™ Programs have donated more than $20 million dollars to participating animal welfare organizations and placed millions of pets into loving homes. These programs include Adoption Kit and sample programs, Purina® Pets for Seniors- pet adoption program, Pro Plan® Rally to Rescue™ and an Animal Emergency Response Network of organizations.

Pro Plan® Rally to Rescue™
Pro Plan® Rally to Rescue™, one of the Purina Pets For People™ programs, recognizes the importance of the work pet rescuers do to help protect homeless pets, and we are committed to doing our part to help in this mission. Pro Plan® Rally to Rescue™ helps rescue organizations across the country give rescued pets the nutrition and care they need and the loving homes they deserve. The Rescue Ambassadors selected to be part of this program have access to exclusive resources and benefits, including marketing tools, event kits and fundraising tools.
