![]() Purina Helps Pets Affected by Hurricane Charley8/23/2004 St. Louis, Missouri, August 23, 2004 - Nestlé Purina PetCare announced it is donating more than 80 tons of Purina brand pet food products to help the four-legged victims of Hurricane Charley in Florida. Purina dispatched several truckloads of Purina ONE, Purina Dog Chow, Purina Puppy Chow, Purina Pro Plan dog and cat food to locations in Southeast and Central Florida. In addition, Purina distributed several tons of Pro Plan brand dog and cat food at the request of the State of Florida’s Emergency Response Team.
