The Canine Activity Center

Send to a friend

Nowhere is there a more inviting or handsome outdoor facility for dog events than the Purina Farms Canine Activity Center. More than 60 dog events a year are held at Purina Farms, with the majority taking place at the Canine Activity Center. The main show field accommodates breed conformation groups of all sizes, and an adjacent field can be used for agility or obedience trials.

Flexibility and ample space are important factors for breed groups seeking a location for an upcoming dog show event. The Purina Farms Canine Activity Center has both, plus numerous amenities including tents and competition equipment as well as spectator seating and RV parking. There is no fee for use of the Activity Center.

Groups ranging from local and regional breed clubs to national specialties are frequent users of the Canine Activity Center. Special events such as the national finals for the Purina Dog Chow® Incredible Dog Challenge™ also take place at the Canine Activity Center. Sponsorship packages that include breed prizes and mementos are available when groups hold their national specialties at Purina Farms.

TESTIMONIALS

Perhaps the best testament of how well the Canine Activity Center accommodates the needs of various groups comes across in the following testimonials from people who have recently attended or held a dog event at Purina Farms.

"There's a lot to rave about in how this year's Golden Retriever National Specialty was done. To begin with the venue, Purina Farms — it couldn't possibly be more ideal for a Sporting Dog National. Those who have been there will understand. Those who haven't owe the site a look-see."

"No other facility in the region can accommodate a national specialty the size of ours as well as Purina Farms. Plus, Purina Farms provides all the amenities a club needs. With the RV area overlooking the show grounds, it is very convenient for participants who travel to the show. Purina Farms provides a comfortable and safe environment for dogs, and the assistance from the staff helps to ensure the success of the event."
